Meteorologist Chuck Heaver
Veteran broadcast meteorologist with major-market experience and a strong social media multi-platform presence. I studied at The Ohio State University and Mississippi State University, obtaining a finance and broadcast meteorology degree. I worked on-camera for 18 years at NBC and WGN Chicago and served as Chief Meteorologist at a PBS station in the Chicagoland area. I also produced and presented forecasts for the nationally syndicated AgDay.
I bring a global perspective shaped by living in Germany, Brazil, and Chile, including producing special reports for NBC during the Rio Olympic Games. I am fluent in German and Portuguese and conversational in Spanish. My background in finance and real estate strengthens my ability to explain complex information and connect with diverse audiences clearly.
